Indian woman stabbed more than 20 times in broad daylight. Video shows passersby doing nothing.

The footage lasted for an agonizing 45 seconds. Captured by CCTV on Tuesday in the streets of Burari, in North Delhi, it began with a man dragging a woman along the sidewalk before throwing her to the pavement. He pulled out a single blade from a pair of scissors and stabbed her with tremendous force. Then he continued to stab her again and again, each time more brutally than before. At one point, he paused to kick her in the head. As the man continued to stab the young woman, who was writhing in pain in clear view of every passerby, several people wandered by. Some ignored the scene entirely, while others glanced over and kept walking. One man in a backpack and another man stuck around, waving

Sex Positions That Help You Orgasm We've ID'd the absolute best Cosmo Kama Sutra positions to pleasure your G-spot and C-spot, so you're practically guaranteed a thigh-q

ON THE EDGE
Erotic Instructions:
Lie on your back by the edge of a pool or dock so your butt's just hanging over the edge above the water. Have your man stand in the water, facing you, then lift your legs and rest them on his shoulders as he enters you. You can hold on to the edge of the pool or dock for support.
Why You'll Love It:
With On the Edge, your man has a full frontal view. So up the optic ante (and channel your inner sex goddess) by caressing your breasts and tummy, which will give him even more eye candy. A bonus: You'll feel spasms of pleasure as the cool water splashes your privates.

G-SPOT JIGGY
Erotic Instructions:
Get down on all fours with your man kneeling behind you and have him plunge inside you, grabbing your rear for balance. A little firm, well-placed stroking of your G-spot can open up a whole new orgasmic world. If he's the exploring kind, encourage him to thrust far enough inside you so that his testicles hit your body.
Why You'll Love It:
Once you have a G-spot orgasm, you'll crave more. Also, there's something very primal about doing the deed from behind that brings out the animal in even the most mild-mannered guy.

THE SENSUAL SPOON
Erotic Instructions:
Every couple knows how to assume the spoon: Lie on your side with your guy behind you. Keep both of your torsos in this doze pose and lift your top leg. Have him shift his lower body into a half-kneeling position, entering you from behind.
Why You'll Love It:
This passion pose gives you the best of both worlds! The half-doggy-style, half-spooning hybrid combines the cozy intimacy of lying side by side with G-spot-rubbing penetration. Nothing beats having him holding you tight while taking you higher. Give him a gentle reminder that both his hands are free, guiding them to caress your curves and stimulate your clitoris. Up his ante by reaching behind, fondling his testicles, and stroking his perinium as he thrusts.

FRISKY FLOOR SHOW
Erotic Instructions:
Stand with your back to your man, then bend over slowly and put your palms on the floor. (If flexibility isn't your strong suit, simply bend your knees to adjust.) Have him enter you from behind, wrapping one of his arms around your waist so neither of you loses your balance. Should you start to go off kilter, press your hands firmly to the floor to steady yourself. If you want, grab some pillows for underneath your hands for extra support and comfort on your way to seventh heaven.
Why You'll Love It:
This position elevates your buttocks, allowing him to thrust downward at a unique angle. The internal pressure created by the force of his thrusting will stimulate your clitoris from the inside. Plus, the southern direction of his plunge will increase his chances of hitting your ultrasensitive G-spot.

BACKSTAIRS BOOGALOO
Erotic Instructions:
Kneel in front of your partner at the landing of a staircase. Both of you should be facing the stairs, and your bodies should mesh together tightly. While you reach up and hold on to each side of the banister for support (or to the stairs themselves), he should hold your hips while he penetrates you from behind.
Why You'll Love It:
This mind-blowing pose lets your man use the incline of the staircase to enter you at a unique upward tilt, allowing him unlimited access to your G-spot. For more intense pressure, you can bear down on him so your butt meshes super snuggly with his groin — talk about a stairway to heaven!

While you reach up and hold on to each side of the banister for support (or to the stairs themselves), he should hold your hips while he penetrates you from behind.

This mind-blowing pose lets your man use the incline of the staircase to enter you at a unique upward tilt, allowing him unlimited access to your G-spot. For more intense pressure, you can bear down on him so your butt meshes super snuggly with his groin — talk about a stairway to heaven!

THIGH MASTER
Erotic Instructions:
If you're bored with the standard woman-on-top pose, this position is a fun, frisky way to mix things up. Your guy lies on his back, one leg outstretched and the other bent, knee pointing upward. You straddle his body sideways with your back turned slightly to his face, hold on to his knee, and lower yourself onto his penis. In this pose, your stomach is almost touching his bent knee; use it for support and leverage as you rock back and forth, and up and down.
Why You'll Love It:
This torrid two-in-one move is all about your ecstasy. The steady rocking motion and thrusting create a pleasure buildup that primes you for the Big O. And you can thrill him by wrapping your hands around his legs and treat him to a titillating thigh massage. Gently knead those over-worked muscles then stroke his skin from knee to groin using firm feel-good pressure.

NIAGARA FALLS
Erotic Instructions:
Facing the faucet, kneel in a tub that's already filled with warm water. Inch up so your body is very close to the water flow, then lean forward and hold the wall or sides of the tub for balance. Your guy climbs in behind you and, also kneeling, enters you from behind. As he thrusts, guide the water stream with your hand from the faucet or detachable showerhead between your legs.
Why You'll Love It:
This supersensual sex style is great for girls who don't always orgasm easily. You get a double-blissful whammy: Your man has prime G-spot access, while the water spray electrifies your external passion button. And with your bodies meshed tight in the tub, your guy can fondle your breasts and stroke you below the belt as he thrusts. All these ultra-arousing sensations — plus the sexy feel of warm water surrounding you on all sides — will take you into the deep end. Trust us, you'll never look at your tub the same way again

THE EROTIC END
Erotic Instructions:
Sit your lover on the floor with his legs stretched out comfortably in front of him. Have him lean back slightly, using his arms to support his weight. With your back to him and your legs straddling his thighs, lower yourself onto him. Keep your knees bent and your feet planted on the floor. With your groins grinding together, squeeze your PC muscles while he makes small circular rotations with his pelvis.
Why You'll Love It:
With you on top, sometimes hitting your G-spot can be a little tricky. But turn your back on him (in a good way!) and the whole landscape changes. This position keeps you in control but affords him a much more direct shot at your can't-take-it-anymore zone. Meanwhile, he can kiss your neck, caress your inner thighs, and stroke other easy-to-access erogenous areas.

Why Do Men Love Big Booty And Bright Light Skin? To Make Up For Their Inadequacies

couples
Written By: Jackson Biko
This week on my blog, I published a story about a medical student in her sixth year. She talked about her dark skin and how being a light-skinned woman in college puts you in a privileged position.
Being brown, or is it yellow, makes you better than the girls with dark skin, even though your brain is the size of a peanut. If you are the right skin colour, you get to have more sex than anyone else. The same applies to girls with big bums.
So in college, the big-bummed light-skinned girls are perched on top of the food chain and the rest fight for space below. How fast things change! Back in my day, big breasts put you on top. Anyway, reading this made me feel ashamed. I was ashamed because we, men, are at the forefront of this nonsense. I may not care much about brown skin, but I’ll be the first to admit that I’m guilty, given that I have written about the female posterior in a way that glorifies it. And as much as it’s my personal preference, I should know better because of my responsibility as a writer with platforms that might shape thoughts, especially those of younger minds.
As men we continue to “like” and share pictures of women with big buttocks on Instagram. We glorify this madness. What we don’t know is that it shapes the attitudes of younger women who grow up convinced that they are less beautiful because they are dark-skinned or because they don’t have the kind of buttocks we like. For someone who has a daughter (and she isn’t exactly light-skinned and doesn’t exactly have buttocks worth talking about at eight years), I really should know better. And so here is a letter to all the girls out there, wondering what beauty is.
Dear Young’uns,
Beauty isn’t determined by how big your buttocks are. They are indeed beautiful, but they aren’t the yardstick of beauty. May I, for the sake of this article, call it “booty” as the language you are accustomed to? Right. Most of us, men, who go online talking about big booty have dated women who didn’t have big booty because some of them were the wittiest, funniest, most intelligent women we were ever with. Unfortunately, big booty grows old quickly if that’s all you are dragging to the table.
Your booty won’t be as perky in five years as it is now. Age and gravity will ensure that. So if you have nothing else on the table you are standing on quicksand. And in any case, there is always a bigger and better buttock than yours around the corner.
You aren’t less beautiful because your buttocks aren’t shaped like Toni Braxton’s. Nobody sits down to talk to booty during a date, we talk to a human being. We don’t call booty when we need an insight. Nobody ever sat around a table at dinner and later said, “wow, conversation was great tonight, that was a great group of ladies with big booty. Please invite them again.”
So stimulate a man’s mind rather than his crotch, you will find the longevity of it all rewarding. It will last longer because we are men, we will always find the next big booty if we look, but we will hardly ever find the next sexy mind that stimulates us intellectually. And if by any chance you find yourself with a man who only sees you for your buttocks, then there is a problem if there ever was any. You are more than just booty. Refuse to allow yourself to be defined by your booty, don’t allow us to reduce you to such lows.
So you aren’t “light-skinned enough” for us? So you aren’t in “team lightskin”? We like light because it distracts the world from our inadequacies, so don’t let yourself be dragged into our self-esteem struggles. I know many lovely dark-skins, so don’t let us pigeonhole you based on our frivolous classifications. You aren’t just a colour. You are more than brown or yellow, I want to imagine. Surely, there is a shade somewhere.
We are men, we will treat you how you view and treat yourself. If you see yourself as nothing but booty, that’s how we will treat you. If you see yourself as a light-skin, that’s how we will see you. If you see yourself as a smart woman, that’s exactly how we will see you. You basically define how you want us to see you.
So if you give these qualities strength, that’s how that cookie will crumble.
Don’t kill yourself bleaching your face or trying to get big booty. I’m not saying let yourself go and look like a scarecrow in the rain, no. I’m saying that you are who you are, but you are much better building your mind, because that’s long-term.
Look good, yes, but also build yourself. Read a book. Pick a newspaper sometimes. Surround yourself with people who build you, not people who see you as yellow or black or big booty. Define your narrative. And the next time we say we only do light-skinned girls with big booty, tell us, “You will find a ton of them when you walk through that door. And please lock it behind you!”

(NAWA OOO)Are We Unprepared For Another Ebola Outbreak?

In a recent editorial in Science entitled “Ebola and Zika: Cautionary tales,” Professor Michael T. Osterholm of the University of Minnesota offers the following:
Two years ago, amidst the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, the international health community was laser-focused on finding an effective and safe vaccine. By heroic public health actions and luck, the crisis was curtailed without one. Today, hardly a word is mentioned about that crisis or the current status of vaccine development. Yet tomorrow, we could experience another explosive Ebola epidemic that begins in the slums of one of equatorial Africa’s megacities and spreads in deadly waves, where only the availability of an effective vaccine could halt its ruinous progress.
Photographer: Waldo Swiegers/Bloomberg
Osterholm is correct in stating that things have gone relatively quiet on Ebola. But does that mean that nothing is happening on the R&D front? Actually, a check of clinicaltrials.gov lists 71 studies ongoing in Ebola, the majority of which involve studying novel vaccines or drugs in humans. Furthest along appears to be Merck with planned regulatory filings for its vaccine in 2017. Merck is working with the Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI) to get its vaccine through late-stage trials, licensure and prequalification by the WHO. In the interim, Merck is providing 300,000 doses of the vaccine for clinical trials and/or emergency situations.
Merck is not alone. Johnson & Johnson has announced that it is starting tests of its vaccine–one that protects against the worst strains of Ebola as well as the dangerous Marburg virus. This vaccine has been developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease.
Also heavily involved in Ebola R&D is Gilead, currently known for its hepatitis C cures, Harvoni and Sovaldi. Gilead’s antiviral drug, GS-5734, has the potential for clearing viral RNA that might remain undetected in Ebola patients who have been believed to be cured. While rare, Ebola can come roaring back in these patients months later. GS-5734 could prevent that from happening.

Donald Trump Checkup Said to Reveal He Is Overweight

After a whiplash-inducing morning of mixed messages, Donald J. Trump on Wednesday opened a small window into some of the results from his most recent physical examination, revealing that he is overweight and takes a statin, a type of drug that lowers cholesterol.
Mr. Trump gave the quick synopsis on Dr. Mehmet Oz’s television show after the Republican presidential nominee’s aides had said that he would, then that he would not, broach the topic with the doctor on the show.
A news release from the “Dr. Oz Show” said that Dr. Oz, “as all physicians do when seeing a patient for the first time,” took the candidate “through a full review of systems including the following: nervous system; head and neck; hormone levels; cardiovascular health and related medications; respiratory health; gastrointestinal health; bladder or prostate health; dermatological health; history of cancer.”
The release also said they reviewed “family medical history — occurrence of Alzheimer’s or dementia, heart disease, cancer in relatives.”
A Trump aide said that Dr. Oz, who often focuses on obesity, declared Mr. Trump “slightly overweight” at 236 pounds (although earlier reports, including an article in The New York Times, put his weight at 267 pounds).
Late last year, Mr. Trump’s doctor, Harold N. Bornstein, wrote an unusual, brief note that he later acknowledged to NBC was partly dictated by the candidate. In that note, Mr. Bornstein described Mr. Trump as in impeccable health, and also said that he had lost 15 pounds over the previous 12 months.
Democrats have over the last few days seized on Mr. Trump’s weight as an issue, with Harry Reid, the Senate minority leader, taking note of it on Tuesday, and David Plouffe, a former senior adviser to President Obama, posting on Twitter that the Republican nominee would rival William Howard Taft in terms of portliness.

(shocking) See U.K. nurse who contracted Ebola cleared of misconduct charge

In this 2015 photo, Pauline Cafferkey, a nurse who contracted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone, smiles in the Royal Free Hospital in London. An independent panel found she was "exhausted and increasingly unwell state" when she landed at the airport and dealt with health officials trying to screen passengers for possible Ebola infection.
A British nurse who contracted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone has been cleared of misconduct charges that stemmed from questions about her elevated temperature when she returned to Britain from West Africa.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council said Wednesday after a two-day hearing that three allegations against Pauline Cafferkey had not been proven.
The council had scheduled the hearing because of allegations that Cafferkey concealed her elevated temperature from health officials when she returned to London Heathrow Airport in December 2014 after a stint in West Africa treating Ebola victims.
The independent panel in Edinburgh found that she was in an "exhausted and increasingly unwell state" when she landed at the airport and dealt with health officials trying to screen passengers for possible Ebola infection.
"In your diminished medical state you were swept along by events," the panel said.
  • Ebola virus's persistence after leaving bloodstream fuels concerns
The questions are important because an elevated temperature can be an early sign of infection, and Ebola can be spread relatively easily.
Lawyer Joyce Cullen, representing Cafferkey, said the nurse had found the disciplinary process "stressful and upsetting."
She said Cafferkey is "delighted" she can now continue her nursing career in Scotland.
Cafferkey, 40, became critically ill with Ebola shortly after her return and recovered after treatment in an isolation unit. She could have lost her license to practice if the hearing had ruled she had acted improperly.

(shocking) see what happened to king of comedy in ghana, Kwaku Sintim-Misa

King of Comedy in Ghana, Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly referred to as KSM has made some very interesting revelations about how his career began as a stand-up comedian and the initial struggles he had to endure.
Appearing for the first time on the most influential celebrity and lifestyle show in Ghana, Celebrity Fanzone on Viasat1 last Saturday, KSM revealed that he was the first African to do an original one-man play on Off-Broadway but also noted that it came with its own challenges.
"I was the first African to have done an original one-man play on Off-Broadway. It was a play I did in the US called, Thoughts of a Confused Black Man. I was looking at the Black man in Africa having gone through colonization and the black man in the US having gone through slavery. And the whole point of the show was that both slavery and colonization had the same impact on the black man's psyche."
KSM has over the years grown to become arguably the best stand-up comedian in Ghana, with masterpiece shows such as Saga of a Returnee, Afia Siriboe, and Politically Incorrect.
Afia Pokuaa of Multimedia who was also a guest on Celebrity Fanzone last Saturday emphasized the importance of theatre in bringing about mental revolution in Ghana.
"Theatre is one of the key tools we can use to cause a mental revolution in Ghana," she noted.
KSM however, revealed that he did his first show with very little money and limited logistics, which meant that he had to improvise at a point in time to get his shows going.
"The theatre was so bad that I had to go there early and clean up the venue with a few guys who were helping set up the ticket desk. The lighting, I didn't have money to have any lighting so I actually had a dimmer connected to some wires on the stage, so that at the end of the show, the character dies and when I die... I die, the lights go out."

Some Poor U.S. Teens Trade Sex For Food Because They’re So Desperate For A Meal

It’s a familiar and heartbreaking narrative. But it’s one you’ve likely only heard about developing countries, not the United States.
Some low-income U.S. teens who are desperate for food are engaging in transactional sex with older, wealthy adults in order to get something to eat, according to a report released Monday by Feeding America, a nonprofit food bank network, and the Urban Institute research group. While these teens have access to food banks and other resources, overwhelming stigma and logistical challenges often keep them from taking advantage of such programs.
These were the extreme cases reflected in the report, titled “Impossible Choices: Teens and Food Insecurity In America,” which details the coping strategies of teens who are food insecure. The findings were released alongside a second study, focusing on solutions to teen hunger.
Based on the data gathered, experts agree that federal programs and nonprofits need to take aggressive action to better protect this vulnerable demographic. The study authors admit that the most extreme situations are far from the norm, but they’re not totally sure how many young people face such circumstances.
“We don’t know how prevalent this is,” Emily Engelhard, managing director of research and evaluation at Feeding America, told The Huffington Post of these cases. “If there are two or three teens that are engaging in this behavior, or if there are 1,000 or more, that’s still too many. It’s really important for us to understand the extremes that teens are going to so that we can try and do a better job of helping them.”
There are nearly 7 million children between the ages of 10 and 17 in America who struggle with hunger. For these two new studies, researchers interviewed about 200 adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 representing a range of poverty levels across 10 U.S. communities.
Some of those interviewed said they resort to “dating” significantly older men and, in exchange, get meals, material goods or cash.
“It’s really like selling yourself,” a teenage girl in Portland, Oregon, told the researchers. “You’ll do whatever you need to do to get money or eat.”
microgen via Getty Images
Food-insecure teens engage in a number of risky behaviors, including transactional sex and selling drugs, to get food for themselves and their families, according to a new report.
Some hopeless teens said they went so far as to intentionally get arrested because they knew that being in jail would guarantee them meals.
“It might not be the best food, might not be the best place to be, but it’s a roof over your head,” the girl from Portland told researchers. “And every single day they eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”
Others shoplifted, sold drugs or stole, among other risky behaviors.
Feeding America and the Urban Institute decided to examine this issue because research on the topic is sorely lacking. Along with the “Impossible Choices” report, the groups released another report Monday, “Bringing Teens to the Table,” examining teens’ relationships with food programs and their ideas on how to improve them. Before these reports were released, most of the information available about the issue of hunger among youths relates to children under 6.
This has been the case despite the fact that adolescence is considered one of the “critical transitions” in life, according to the World Health Organization. That period of development is marked by a tremendous amount of growth and change that are second only to infancy.
Tomwang112 via Getty Images
Though nearly 7 million children between 10 and 17 struggle with hunger in the U.S., there isn’t a lot of available information about how the issue affects this demographic.
The adolescents interviewed for both studies came from varied backgrounds, but they were all receiving some sort of support. They were either getting free or reduced-price lunch at their school or living with a family that had received food stamps or charitable food assistance at some point in the last year.
Though there are safety nets in place, they often don’t work for this demographic.
Teenage students may get free lunch at school, but many go without breakfast. Nearly half of all low-income U.S. students skipped the first meal of the day in 2014. That was due to the fact that they couldn’t get to school in time when the meal was served, or they were too ashamed to accept it in front of their other friends, according to a report released last year by the Food Research and Action Center.
The shame surrounding handouts is particularly prevalent among teenagers. Many are reluctant to go to a food pantry, for example, because they don’t want to admit that their families are struggling, Engelhard told HuffPost.
“We definitely heard from a lot of the teens that don’t want to get food at the pantry. They don’t want to depict their family as needing help,” Engelhard said. “It’s embarrassing.”
Complicated logistics are also a major hindrance for food insecure teenagers.
Some pantries are only open during school and work hours, which precludes family members from accessing those services.
During the summer, food insecure teens are even more at risk, since they don’t have school meals to rely on. Community programs often aren’t available in rural areas, and setting up food programs typically comes with so much red tape that it’s nearly impossible to get a grassroots group off the ground.
Teens who face such significant challenges, however, demonstrate an enormous amount of resourcefulness.
Many of those interviewed said they take the helm in their families when it comes to getting food. They’ll clip coupons, develop a food budget and handle the grocery shopping. Some teens do whatever it takes ― even if that means going without food themselves ― to ensure that their younger siblings get enough to eat and aren’t aware of how dire the situation is in the household.
Food-insecure teenagers are also eager to put forward solutions that could help curb the issue.

A group of food-insecure teenagers in Portland, Oregon, deliver donated produce to families in need.
In Portland’s New Columbia neighborhood, for example, Feeding America helped form a group of food-insecure teens who want to develop more suitable food service programs. After a number of sessions, the Youth Community Advisory Board (YCAB) suggested creating events where free food isn’t the predominant theme.
Instead of having a food pick-up event, for instance, the teens said they would prefer attending a movie night or a basketball game where dinner happens to be served.
The YCAB members also helped spearhead a program called Harvest Share, which launched in January. Every month, the Oregon Food Bank drops off fresh organic food, which the teens volunteer to distribute to families in need in the New Columbia area. The teens also take home food for their families.
During its first round, the program reached 116 households, a majority of which hadn’t accessed charitable food services before.
“The teens hoped not only for increased access to emergency food,” the researchers found, “but also for a safe, supportive environment to develop the skills needed serve as leaders and change agents in their communities.”

Manchester United Posts Record Revenue Without Petrodollars

Manchester United has become the first British soccer club to surpass the half a million pound mark in annual revenue, according to its latest quarterly earnings report.
Some Red Devils supporters viewed the revenue gains as notable due to the lack of sponsorship from oil companies, unlike many other clubs, including crosstown rival Manchester City, which is run by the United Arab Emirates-based Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG).
An October 2015 opinion piece in the Manchester Evening News, however, claims that teasing ManCity over the influx of petro-dollars belies the fact that the club turned over a profit seven years after having been purchased by ADUG.

Russia and Middle Eastern states have spent funds on other soccer clubs in Europe, such as the state-owned Qatar Airways sponsoring the jersey of storied Spanish side FC Barcelona. Chinese investment has also helped prop up European clubs in recent years including a minority stake in Champions League runners-up Atletico Madrid.
The influx of oil funds does occasionally have a price, however. English Premier League side Chelsea achieved a remarkable turnaround, on the field and off, after having been bought in 2003 by Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire whose wealth came primarily from the oil industry. Yet the club could see its bottom line being hit after Abramovich lost an estimated US$820 million in the first days of this year due to the low price of oil and Russia’s economic troubles.
As reported by Goal.com, the famed ManU posted earnings of US$684million (or £515.3 million) in the 2015-16 financial year. Related: Why Is Big Oil Backing Clinton Over Trump?
Revenue from match days grew to US$142 million, while commercial income spiked 36.3 percent to US$356 million. In addition, the club’s operating profit reached US$92 million after having increased annually by around 30 percent.
Apart from winning the FA Cup in 2015, the club’s triumphs in recent years have been few and far between in recent years and this has hurt their finances. Their debts have grown a mere two percent but the US$347 million deficit equals slightly more than half of the yearly earnings. Revenue was also lost from the lack of participation this year in the lucrative UEFA Champions League, paying off former head coach Louis van Gaal and replacing him with Jose Mourinho, and big money player signings including that of Paul Pogba.

Cristiano Ronaldo ‘marries’ boxer Badr Hari in anti-gay Morocco

Cristiano Ronaldo ‘marries’ boxer Badr Hari in anti-gay Morocco

The Real Madrid striker and BFF Badr Hari have shared a series of snaps of their recent bromantic holiday.
The pair seemed to have taken their friendship to the next level during their recent trip to Morocco – which operates strict anti-gay laws.
Last week, heavyweight kick boxer Hari posted a photo on Facebook of him holding up Ronaldo.

“Just married,” the caption said. “Always there to pick you up, bro.”
However, while its highly unlikely that the pair actually tied the knot, that hasn’t stopped fans fawning over the pair – who shared a host of fun poolside pics during their recent break.
Other snaps of the trip shared a candle-lit image of a traditional Moroccan meal, as well as a picture of the pair post “wedding”.
Ronaldo’s love of fashion, accessories and grooming has made him the subject of gay rumours in the past and he has been voted a gay icon by several publications.

However, he has shrugged off the adulation, saying: “I’m at ease with my sexuality so it’s not a problem for me.”
Back in 2010, the sports star commended Portugal’s decision to allow gay marriage.
“As I am Portuguese, I try to keep myself informed about what is happening in my country,” he said at the time.
“We must respect the choices of each other, because, after all, all citizens should have the same rights and responsibilities.”

Same-sex sexual activity is a crime in Morocco, with a maximum possible sentence of 3 years.
Ray Cole, a gay British man, was briefly jailed in the country last year under Morocco’s anti-gay laws.
Mr Cole and his Moroccan friend were subsequently released following a high-profile campaign.
Moroccan law penalises what it refers to as acts of “sexual deviancy” between members of the same sex, a term that police reports and court documents use to refer to homosexuality more generally.
Campaigners earlier this year condemned the jailing of two men accused of consensual same-sex activity in Morocco.

Nigeria Politics: APC, PDP Leaders Mull New Party Early 2017

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, a new political party that would challenge the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would emerge in the first quarter of 2017. New Telegraph learnt from authoritative sources that the political party, which would be a third force, will be made up of aggrieved members of the ruling APC and the opposition PDP.

It was also learnt that though clandestine, talks on the emergence of the party are at advanced stage with leaders of the main two political parties involved. It was gathered that meetings on the new party have been held both in Nigeria and outside the country.

It was learnt that the emergence of the party became imminent following a research revealed by a United Kingdom-based professor that Nigerians are neither happy with the governance style of the APC nor the present state of the PDP.
Thus, concerned leaders of both parties, who are equally not satisfied with the goings on in the polity, are “talking to find a way out of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency.” A top APC leader from the South-South told New Telegraph over the weekend that talks were still ongoing. According to him, it is not certain that the APC or the PDP would go into the 2109 election as presently constituted. “Yes, there are talks about a new political party.
I would not be honest with you if I say I am not aware of it. People are talking across party lines. I am aware that there is an opinion poll showed me by a United Kingdombased Nigerian Professor (names withheld), which showed that Nigerians are not happy with the APC.
By the same token, they are not sure where the PDP would end with this crisis. The opinion poll is one of the many conducted recently, which showed that Nigerians are fast losing hope in the APC.
Nigerians are particularly irked by the non-inclusive nature of the party and the protracted crisis in the PDP. The opinion poll also showed that Nigerians would not be happy to see the PDP return to power under the same name. For many who have seen the report, it is a wake-up call,” he said.
It was gathered that even though some top politicians in the APC are still on the surface, showing solidarity with President Muhammadu Buhari, they are rankled by the strength of what they called the ‘cabal’ around the president’s cabinet. Thus, many top members of the party are dissatisfied with the vice grip of the group on the president.
The politician added: “You could see that their bent on holding the president is manifesting negatively for the party. All the promises made before the 2015 general elections are not kept. It is as bad as the Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, asking us why we are using drop in oil prices as an excuse for the economic downturn.
Oil is only 15 per cent of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP). So how can the failure of 15 per cent of our GDP drag us into recession? It is simply because those who are around the president have made it so hard for him to address the problems frontally. We are not happy with the development.”
Sources told our correspondents that at the head of discussions for the new party are a party leader from the South- West, another one from the North-East and others in the National Assembly who feel that the way things are running at the Assembly was not right.
The trio forms the core of the leadership even as members of the PDP who are not sure of the way the pendulum would swing in the battle against Senator Ali Modu Sheriff’s faction of the party have joined the discussion.
Already, the PDP governors and the Ahmed Markarfi faction of the party have filed a suit at the Appeal Court to challenge the Justice Okon Abang’s ruling on the party, which recognised Sheriff as the National Chairman of the party.
A PDP governor from the South-South, told New Telegraph at the weekend that they were hopeful that the Appeal Court would give the matter an accelerated hearing from September 19. “Our only constraint now is the Sallah festivals coming up this week. We had hoped that from September 12, the Appeal Court would begin sitting. All the papers have been filed. We are only waiting for the break to pass. As from September 19, we will push for an accelerated hearing and throw Sheriff out.
We hope that the Judges of the Appeal Court would see reason with us on the decision of the National Convention that dethroned Sheriff and restored mandate to us. By that, we will be able to make progress in the party.”
While not unaware of the plot for a new party, he said that those looking for a new party were deluding themselves. He said that the Buhari presidency was too strong to be threatened by the formation of a new party. He said: “Make no mistake about it.
This is not a Jonathan presidency where all sorts of things happened. If you make the false move now and they know, all they need is to show you some papers and tell you what you had done in the past. That is trouble.
The cabal now is stronger than that of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua. Don’t be fooled that you can threaten them. Our safe passage is to go to Appeal Court and get judgement and start rebuilding our party.”
Indeed, another top politician from the South-West PDP told New Telegraph that talks are at advanced stage. He emphasised that the PDP, as at now, cannot convince Nigerians on returning in 2019, hence the need for another vehicle.
“You heard what former President Olusegun Obasanjo said last week about the state of PDP in opposition and APC in governance. Neither is strong to give Nigerians hope. There are ongoing talks now. By November, it would be clearer.
The truth is that talks are at advanced stage. They are being spearheaded by the people you know from both the APC and PDP. It is going to be a very strong party that will rival the big two. What is not clear is, for instance, if people would remain in the PDP after. But the way Sheriff is behaving shows he has a back up from the APC-led Federal Government.
So, we don’t know if PDP will survive it. There is need for a back up on our side.” It was learnt from multiple sources that many leaders in the APC are unhappy with Nigeria sliding into recession under their leadership. Multiple sources attributed the state of the economy to a lack of capacity of those saddled with the responsibility.

Nigeria Politics News: PDP, APC Big Guns Form Alliance Ahead of 2019

Ahead of 2019 general elections, a new political movement, the Nigerian Patriots, NP, has emerged.

The group, it was gathered, has an ultimate goal of becoming a mega-party that will contest for elective positions.

Those who have shown interest in the group, according to a Tribune report, include some former Nigerian leaders, vice presidents, former and serving state governors, senators and House of Representatives, as well as eminent politicians.
A number of chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Labour Party, LP, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, are also reportedly part of the proposed party.
It was learnt that most of the leaders in the South-West, comprising former PDP governors and lawmakers who were uncomfortable with some prevailing situations in their parties, are also part of the group.
The steering committee of the proposed party is headed by a PDP bigwig, Chief Dosu Oladipo, who told Tribune that “Anybody that wants the survival of this country should come to the Nigerian Patriots. It is not a socio-cultural group; it is a political group.
“We are reaching out to all leaders across the six geopolitical zones. We have consolidated in the South-West; South-East, South-South; North-Central; North-East and the North-West.
“At the appropriate time, the Nigerian Patriots will apply for registration by INEC.”
The new group is hoping to capitalize on the factionalisation of the PDP and the cold war in the APC over supremacy in the National Assembly caucus, as well as rancour in a number of state chapters.
Speaking on the ongoing talks, Oladipo said the group boasts of members who strongly believed in restoring good governance by ending an era of impunity and ineptitude to the political space.
He disclosed that he and other leaders of the steering committee met in Ibadan, last Wednesday, in the ongoing moves to consolidate on the gains of the past few weeks of serious engagements and consultations.
Oladipo did not disclose when NP would apply for registration by INEC because of the need “to avoid some mistakes that characterised the formation of mega parties in the past.”
“You don’t do things in haste, when it comes to forming the kind of formidable national party we are involved.
“We are promoting the principle of inclusiveness and consultation.
“We are still reaching out to other like-minds across board and once they say, ‘oh, it is time to move to the next stage, we will gladly comply”, he added.

About 22,000 new lung cancer patients diagnosed in Vietnam each year: doctors

Around 22,000 new cases of lung cancer are recorded every year in Vietnam, where the disease is ranked among the top causes of death, doctors said at a seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday.
Doctors and medical experts gathered at the seminar on the application of targeted therapy in improving survival for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients hosted by the Oncology Hospital.
According to figures presented by doctors at the event, around 22,000 Vietnamese people are diagnosed with lung cancer every year, while 19,500 die yearly from the disease.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of death among Vietnamese males, and the second-most common cause of cancer-related fatalities among females, doctors said.
Over 34,000 people, men and women, in Vietnam are forecast to come down with the disease each year by 2020.
According to Vu Van Vu, head of the first internal ward at the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, NSCLC accounts for 85 percent of all cases of lung cancer, with the majority of patients only diagnosed at a late stage when distant metastases have developed.
The rate of survival for these patients is extremely low, with less than five percent of NSCLC patients able to survive for five years or more since diagnosis.
Over the past ten years, targeted therapy has drastically improved treatment for NSCLC patients in Vietnam compared to traditional chemotherapy, doctors said at the seminar.
Targeted therapy is treatment using drugs that target gene changes in cells that cause cancer while doing less damage to normal, healthy cells, according to the American Cancer Society.

Nigerian Ebola movie extols moment of heroism

hat's not true for "93 Days", a Nollywood film premiering on Tuesday, which dramatises the story
of Nigeria's response to the very real Ebola epidemic in 2014 that killed more than 11,000 people
in West Africa.

Hollywood plague movies are usually about a fictional viral outbreak, unleashing chaos and anarchy that can only be stopped by heroes who transcend the panic.

That's not true for "93 Days", a Nollywood film premiering on Tuesday, which dramatises the story of Nigeria's response to the very real Ebola epidemic in 2014 that killed more than 11,000 people in West Africa.

Hundreds had already died from the disease in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone when Ebola surfaced in Nigeria as a Liberian finance ministry official, Patrick Sawyer, arrived in Lagos on July 20, 2014, visibly unwell.

When it was confirmed he had the haemorrhagic virus, there were fears it would spread like wildfire in the megacity of 20 million and across Africa's most populous nation -- and then beyond.

But that's not what happened in Nigeria, and for many people that was nothing short of a miracle.

There were just 19 confirmed Ebola cases and seven deaths, including Sawyer, and Nigeria lifted its state of emergency 93 days after he was first admitted to hospital.

During a recent advance screening of "93 Days" in Lagos, the audience was chatting and flicking through their smartphones as the titles rolled, in typical Nigerian fashion.

But when the words "based on a true story" appeared on screen, the room fell silent.

"For the first time, Nigerians united to fight against a common enemy, everyone was scared," producer Bolanle Austen-Peters told AFP.

"Two years later, it is as if there had been a general amnesia, no one seems to remember what we went through.

"It seemed to me important that we document our own history of our country."

- Blood spray -

Directed and co-produced by Nigerian Steve Gukas and written by South African Paul Rowlston, "93 Days" portrays the medical staff of First Consultants hospital, where Sawyer was patient zero.

At the time, coverage of the Ebola epidemic was dominated by images of people being carted away by medical staff encased in head-to-toe protective suits.

The movie shows the horror of the virus. There were gasps in the audience when Sawyer rips out his intravenous drip and blood sprays onto the medical staff.

But it also reveals the humanity in the crisis, showing the courage and sacrifice of those on the front lines of the battle against Ebola.

Some in the audience were sobbing during the scene when a young man says goodbye to his dying mother, trapped behind the clear plastic wall of an isolation ward.

The mother, played by Nigerian actress Bimbo Akintola, was the clinic's most senior doctor, Stella Adadevoh, who heroically refused to discharge Sawyer despite heavy pressure from Liberia.

In the last scene, Nigeria's green and white flag is behind hospital director Benjamin Ohiaeri, played by US movie star Danny Glover, as he gives a rousing speech on the resilience of Nigerians.

Sponsored by the Lagos state government, the scene mirrors the naked patriotism seen in such Hollywood films as "Independence Day".

- Premiere in church -

But for many that moment of national pride is worth celebrating at a time when Nigeria is in the depths of an economic recession and armed groups, including Boko Haram in the northeast, are wreaking havoc.

"Here we come!" actress Somkele Iyamah Idhalama said, raising her left fist.

She is taking the movie to the Toronto International Film Festival later this month, where "93 Days" was selected alongside seven other Nigerian productions.

"That's what I've always wanted to do, to put my country on a better light," said Iyamah, who plays Doctor Ada Igonoh who contracted Ebola but recovered.

Igonoh gave birth to a baby girl in the United States last November in what the First Consultant Hospital called "a new lease of life and in memory of fallen colleagues and survivors" of Ebola.

Iyamah said Nigerian cinema is now "taken more seriously" and has a crucial role to play in the country's development.

"We have shown that the economy can survive with a huge input from the entertainment sector... We can save the economy," she said.

That economic contribution can be seen as Nollywood films -- traditionally low budget -- are improving and being helped by pan-African satellite TV channels.

Nigeria's entertainment industry grew to 1.4 percent of GDP -- $7.2 billion -- in 2014, according to Oxford Business Group.

The premiere of "93 Days" is being held at the House on the Rock, an evangelical mega-church in the prosperous suburb of Lekki that can seat 7,000 under its roof.

"There are not so many places in Lagos that can host so many people," event organiser Joseph Umoibom said.

Still, for a movie about a miracle, perhaps there's no better place.
